Smita Nadia is a passionate public servant who is proud to serve on the Bloomingdale school board these past three years. She is a proud mom of two young boys and a baby girl, including a student attending Samuel R Donald Elementary School and a student attending Martha B Day Elementary School in Bloomingdale.

• Served in governance and budgetary capacities on the boards of major national and NJ based nonprofit organizations.
• Co-founded a women’s organization to empower underserved communities.
• Managed, taught, and developed afterschool programs and training for high school students.
